CMC-HVT is a linear polymer made from natural cellulose through alkalization, etherification, drying, and crushing. This product is a white or slightly yellow fibrous powder with hygroscopicity, odorless, tasteless, non-toxic, insoluble in acids, alcohols, and organic solvents, easily dispersed in water to form a colloidal solution, and has a good thickening effect. It can be used as a filtrate reducer, suspension agent, thickener, and plugging agent for water-based drilling fluids. It can form a thin and hard filter cake with low permeability in the wellbore, reduce water loss, and resist salt to saturation. It can be widely used in various water-based drilling fluid systems, with good suspension effect and significant water loss reduction effect. The recommended dosage is 0.2% -0.5%.
